COUPON LAUGHTER !

LAUGHTER

Okay, here are some of the "mistakes" you can make couponing that will cause you laughter, yes laughter .... Hey, if we can't laugh about it then we are taking this couponing stuff way too seriously!!

Here are a few of my favorite moments:

Wrong brand!!! I'm like doing the woohoo dance in my head at the great deal I am getting and BLEEP--- "uh, ma'am this is for another brand" --- ooops, okay, well can we take it off, sorry:0) (Young cashier rolls her eyes)

Wrong size!!! Okay, am I getting older or did that size change from the time I looked at the coupon and checked on the product? Get to the register and I STILL picked up the wrong one.

FORGET to actually use the coupon!!! What??? You can't be serious?

Go shopping and ONLY buy what is on your coupon list and go home with NO BREAD, MILK OR EGGS OR HAM!!!!! Hubby wants to make a sandwich and all you can offer him is a can of PRINGLES and some CEREAL :0) love ya, honey! Come on, admit it you couponing pros!!!!

TIPS

Here are some tips I wish someone would have shared with me when I first started:

Take a shopping assistance with you when trying to juggle a HUGE coupon binder, sales ad, deal list, coupons to use, coupons to look at and grocery lists ---- man where is a baby when you need some practice for this!!!!

Consider shopping with coupons, deals and rewards AS your workout for the day. Buy some ice cream as a reward!!!!

Realize that SOMEONE with a lot more energy is probably going to get all of the $9 Razors that nobody would normally buy but are FREE this week before you get there!!!!

Recognize that your family may NOT want to try that new FREE Yogurt for breakfast no matter how many times you mention the fact that you got it FREE!!!

Accept the fact that NO ONE is every going to get excited about a coupon blinkie like you do.

Admit that you may have to buy more milk to go with all that cereal you now eat for breakfast, lunch and supper :o)

Keep laughing and keep it simple, Ginger
